About Mount Olivet Cemetery

Mount Olivet Cemetery holds the unique distinction of being the only cemetery in the United States established by an Act of Congress, signed by President Ulysses S. Grant on May 16, 1874. Originally granted 20 acres from the U.S. Army's Camp Douglas military reservation, this historic non-denominational cemetery has served families of all faiths in Salt Lake City for over 150 years.

Founded through the efforts of Episcopal Bishop Daniel S. Tuttle, Mount Olivet Cemetery was created as Salt Lake City's second public burial ground to serve the diverse, non-Mormon population seeking an inclusive final resting place. Now spanning approximately 80 acres, the cemetery is the final resting place of prominent Utah governors, U.S. Representatives, mining magnates, and Civil War veterans. Perfect on headstones
We feel this on the headstone is more valuable than the headstone itself.

Younger brother
I purchased a Memorial QR Tile for my younger brother who passed away this last year. The tile was easy to set up and we've already uploaded some content. I was able to give access to my parents and siblings so that they can all add content and make edits. We've been really happy with it so far and I think it will make a nice addition to his monument.

This was a big priority for my family. My children are very young and we are using it for their father’s headstone. I appreciate being able to bring some life and light to an otherwise sad place for them! Thank you for this product. - Lacy

THE BEST SERVICE
Somehow the acrylic cube affixed to the top of the raised headstone was missing. Audiobiography quickly replaced it with the new "coin" version, which will be very difficult to remove. THANK YOU.
